We Need to Talk

Understand Mental Health

May is Mental Health Awareness Month in the US and it couldn’t be more timely: 4 in 10 adults reported symptoms such as anxiety and depression during the pandemic. This figure is up from 1 in 10 in 2019, according to KFF, a nonprofit organisation focusing on national health issues.

These six pieces of work show how brands can help remove the stigma of mental health. From correct responses to someone suffering with mental health issues to a fake audition highlighting the difference between sadness and depression, this work shows that empathy needs to lead the way.
